With shoemaking roots dating back to 1866, Carmina Shoemaker was formed by the Albaladejo family in 1997. Encompassing five generations of shoemaking history, Carmina set its ambition of creating some of the world’s finest shoes.
Carmina adopts the tradition of English bench shoemaking by employing Goodyear welted construction in all their shoes. Yet there is a Spanish flair to their distinct, lithe lasts and designs. Like Alden, Carmina are renowned for their splendid cordovan examples and they are specialists in this tradition, à la Córdoba. Family owned. Made on the island of Mallorca, Spain.
